Midwifery - Completed two-year course in Midwifery including all aspects of pre-natal, natal, and post-natal care. Including the actual delivery of 30 infants and assisted with 30 additional deliveries. Two 30-day rural field assignments. The objectives of these field assignments were to educate women in rural areas in appropriate pre-natal, post-natal, and dietary practices. Monthly outreach programs included free blood pressure screening at local markets and immunizations at elementary schools. Assisted with inpatient and outpatient care.
